Abunda announces Roxanne Guinoo’s engagement

MANILA, Philippines – King of Talk Boy Abunda on Tuesday announced that actress Roxanne Guinoo and her Chinese-Filipino boyfriend are getting married early next year.
Abunda confirmed in his show, “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon,” that the 24-year-old actress has finally decided to settle down.
“Ang aking balita po ang kasal ay magaganap early next year dahil ang kanyang sister ay nag-asawa at ang ating pamahiin ay sukob. Kaya hindi sila pwedeng magpakasal ngayong taon,” Abunda said.
He added: “Si Roxanne is very close to my heart dahil si Roxanne po ay nanggaling sa Star Cirlcle Quest kung saan tayo ay bahagi ng contest na ito. Masayang masaya ako na ibahagi sa inyo ang balitang ito na si Roxanne Guinoo po ay mag-aasawa na.”
It was February of last year when Guinoo publicly admitted that she is in a relationship. She said she fell in love with her non-celebrity boyfriend because he respects her and her work.
Three months after her admission, Guinoo was seen wearing a ring, but the actress quickly clarified that it was not an engagement ring.
Guinoo used to date actors Joross Gamboa and Jake Cuenca.
