Boy Abunda makes promise to Cory

MANILA – “The Buzz” host Boy Abunda has promised former president Corazon Aquino, who died after fighting colon cancer, that he would look after her daughter, close friend Kris Aquino, and her two children.
Abunda divulged that when he visited Mrs. Aquino Saturday he kept repeating his promise to her.
“Quietly, I was talking to her. [I told her], ‘Tita, to the best I can, hindi ko papabayaan si Kris at ang kanyang mga anak.’ I kept saying that,” he said.
Kris is married to cager James Yap. They have a child, James Jr. who is also known as Baby James. Kris’ eldest child, Joshua, is her son with actor Philip Salvador.
