Dra. Vicki Belo on Hayden Kho: ‘We don’t talk to each other talaga’

Sa isang event ng kanyang clinic na Belo Medical Group, na-corner si Dra. Vicki Belo ng entertainment press at pinagpaliwanag siya sa pag-apir niya sa pagdinig ng kaso ni Hayden sa korte. Suppossedly ay sa May 20 pa siya nakatakdang makipagkita kay Hayden. “I’m the one nga who broke it eh, that’s why I feel bad. But he looks so happy naman to see me in fairness. May 20 is his birthday, so ang deal namin d’yan on January the moment the year starts, on May 20, ‘yun ang aming date. And then yesterday I heard that he was being arraigned. And then, the lawyers were telling me, you know, kawawa naman, he’s feeling depressed kasi ‘di ba, parang his license got lost, he’s down now. Sabi niya Baka you wanna go, show tomorrow, show moral support. Ako naman si Miss, hmmp, e kasi, we’re gonna see each other pero sabi ko, moral support, arraignment lang, show lang in the court and then no more na. Kaya tumuloy na ako. So, I was planning nga to just sit at the back and not even talk to him. Parang gusto ko lang tingnan, fan,” tili sabay tawa ni Dra. Belo.
Nalungkot siya after breaking her promise? “Yeah, a little. I felt sad but not naman regret it. ‘Di ba I never regret anything? But I’m disappointed in myself for breaking the promise because I would have want and at the same time I think it was worth doing it because you have to keep gauging who you are and eh was so happy to see me. I think it made him feel better na may moral support siya for the arraignment.” Since na -break na ang kanyang promise, magtutuluy-tuloy na ba ulit ang relasyon nila ni Hayden? “Hindi, start again. Ganun ako kapag nagdiye-diyeta, begin again. ‘Di ba lagi ko’ng nabi-break ang diyeta ko? So, tapos ano, it’s not the end, begin again.”
Paano niya ide-describe ang relasyon niya kay Hayden ngayon? “There’s none. There’s no relationship. We don’t talk to each other talaga. What you saw is nag-hello lang ako. Hindi man lang ako nag-halik, naks. Medyo far kami, ‘Hi, I’m here lang,’ ganu’n. So, wala pa. Na-admire ko pa rin na gwapo siya. Tapos in court he was very poised.” Ano ang gagawin nila sa May 20? “Magto-talk kami ulit kasi malay mo nagchange na ‘yung tao ‘di ba? Change feelings.” Pagkatapos magkakabalikan na sila? “D’yos ko naman, ang bilis! If ever kailangan niyang mag-court ulit ng sobrang hirap, effort. Ayoko na. Kailangan prove himself again.” Maraming effort daw ang kailangan ni Hayden para ma-win back ang doktora. “No, I told him he’s on probation. Actually, the whole year of 2009 sabi niya, kasi ‘di ba, I don’t trust him kaya kami nag-stop. Kasi everytime ako with him kahit ano’ng sabihin nyah hindi ako naniniwala. Hindi ba, wala ng trust.”
Totoo ba na pagkatapos ng birthday ni Hayden, patatayuan niya ng clinic abroad ang kanyang controversial ex-bf? “Ay, hindi, hindi. That’s not true at all. I don’t know where it came from but that’s really not true. I think he has all his plans already. What I really learned from this lesson is number one, although gustong-gusto ko na magkasama ang partner ko at ako kasi I feel safe. Mukhang it’s not really a good idea to mix personal life and business. So, as far as that is concerned, definitely, Hayden will not comeback to professional level with Belo at all even abroad, nothing. I know he has his own plans He’s been working on it. He has his own projects that he will do it after May 20. Kasi in the mean time, what he’s doing is silence, parang mission at medical because he’s not a doctor anymore. He’s doing more outreach, more going back to the basics. And then a lot of soul searching, a lot of reading. You know he writes to me everyday. He writes to me but he doesn’t give it to me. According to him he writes me everyday and then, parang journal.”
Paano nabubuhay financially si Hayden? “Simple lang naman ‘yung tao. May pera naman siya. Hindi ko naman ‘yung pinulot sa ano, ‘no? Marami siyang savings from showbiz, even before mga raket niya. But more less his parents are the ones who are supporting him. Doktor naman ‘yung father niya sa Manila Doctors (Hospital). See, ‘yung mga ganu’n ang resentment niya sa akin.Parang binaba masyado ang pamilya niya. Kasi when I met him very respected ‘yung father niya sa Manila Doctor’s . Ano pa ‘yan, e number five ata sa medical board. Marami namang kompnaya na siya ang consultant.”
Ano ang reaksyon ng mga anak niya na sina Crystalle at Quark sa pagkikita ulit nila ni Hayden? “Hay, naku, si Cystalle parang ano, give up na siya sa akin ‘di ba kasi nu’ng narinig niya na nakita ko si Hayden sabi niya, ‘Mommy, sabi mo May 20,’ parang kayo, hahaha. Sabi ko, ‘Sayang, naku, Crystalle, sorry. Moment of weakness.’ Pero sabi ko I’ll start again today, hahaha! So, pagbigyan ninyo na ako, forgive na. I feel bad nga, e, kasi normally when I say something I do it. But I don’t know ‘di ba? Si Quark naman hidni niya alam ata.Hindi siya nagbabasa ng tabloid, hindi nanonood ng TV. Very busy siya.”
Ano naman ang masasabi niya na laging binabanggit ni Sen. Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr na malaki ang chance na makulong si Hayden? “I know,” diin ni Dra. Belo. “Sen. Bong sana, well, I really feel Sen. Bong is using it as a campaign weapon. I think, malas ni Hayden it’s campaign (time) here. I mean, I really don’t understand with, there’s a Senate hearing about it. There’s a lot more important things like poverty, Ampatuan stuff so why is it such a big deal. I mean, I honestly really feel that malas si Hayden it’s all he’s being used as a trump card for political purposes and for becoming out in the press ‘cause you people have to write about it. So, of course, now it’s all awareness, hearing, and then of course, women’s rights.” Paano kung makulong nga si Hayden? “Ahh, I don’t know. Well, Atty. (Lorna) Capunan assured me that she thinks it will not happen. But of course, if he goes to jail I will visit. I don’t even, I don’t even want to think of the possibility. Kasi so far, what did he really, really do in the grand scheme of things ‘di ba? Did he kill anyone? No. Did he steal anything from anyone? No. ‘di ba everybody there was voluntary. I think he even made them happy,” madiing sagot ni Dra. Belo.
