“Kung ang I’ll Be There ay isang regalo, ito na ang pinakamagandang regalong naibigay sa akin ng kahit na sino,” Gabby Concepcion shared during the press conference of his upcoming movie with daughter KC Concepcion. Gabby still couldn’t believe that he was given the chance to spend days taping with his daughter.

In I’ll Be There, Gabby and KC play father and child who grow estranged from each other. Following Gabby’s split from Sharon Cuneta, he spent less time with KC, especially when he lived in the US for 13 years. But according to Gabby, he managed to keep a healthy relationship with his daughter. This was why Gabby was deeply affected when they were shooting some of the dramatic confrontation scenes in I’ll Be There. The story is not actually our lives, but the emotions are real.”

Gabby further shared how very proud he is to see his daughter grow up into a fine lady. “Maraming traits ang nagbabago sa isang tao every year, every five years.

Even while he was still living in the US during the time when KC started out in showbiz, Gabby would see on TV that his daughter was raised very well. Mabait pa rin and as a father I’m very proud of that.”

Catch Gabby and KC in special mall show this June 13 at the Market Market, The Fort.
