Is Kris Aquino leaving RP for good?

MANILA, Philippines – Is it true that the President’s sister, controversial TV host Kris Aquino, will no longer return to the Philippines? Not likely, according to “Showbiz News Ngayon” host and Aquino’s best friend, Boy Abunda.
Abunda said Kris and her children, Joshua and James Yap Jr., will return to Manila at the end of the month.
“No. Hindi po totoo ang balitang ‘yan. Babalik po si Kris on July 31 of 2010 para klaro tayo. Hindi po totoo ‘yan. Itong bakasyon ni Kris ay matagal ng plano ito and finally natuloy. This is a much-deserved break for Kris and her kids,” Abunda said.
Kris and her kids left Manila last week after announcing her impending separation from husband, pro-basketball player James Yap.
Aquino said she and her children will be staying in Orlando, Florida for 3 weeks.
The controversial TV host said she would likely miss the State of the Nation Address of her brother, President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, on July 26.
She added, however, that she will return to the Philippines in time for the death anniversary of her mother, former president Cory Aquino, on August 1.
Separation
Kris announced on June 27 that she was separating from her husband after five years of marriage.
James, on the other hand, has said he wants to give their marriage another chance.
Aquino’s lawyer, Anna Liza Logan, said Aquino will ask the court to decide that the marriage was void from the beginning.
She said Aquino’s legal team is now preparing the petition for the declaration of nullity of marriage. She said the contents of the petition will be finalized once Aquino arrives from her 3-week vacation.
Logan refused to answer the reasons behind Aquino’s decision to annul her marriage.
Aquino has a child with Yap, 3-year old Baby James Yap Jr.. Joshua is Kris’s son from her previous relationship.
Logan, however, said Aquino is open to discussing the custody issues with Yap.
