KC Concepcion admits to being emotional on the set of her movie with dad Gabby

KC Concepcion is busy shooting I’ll Be There, her first movie with her dad Gabby Concepcion. In a previous interview, KC said that doing a movie with her dad is a dream come true because she has always wished for Gabby to be her leading man in a movie. “Masaya na mahirap kasi tinatapos na namin. June na siya lalabas,” KC added.
Since it is a story about a father and his daughter, KC admitted that most of the scenes are close to reality. She cannot help but be affected while they shoot these scenes, as she can relate to them when she recalls what happened to her family when she was younger. “May mga eksena talaga na medyo sensitive kasi parang yung emotional na lalabas lalo na kapag kaming dalawa ni Papa, medyo nagiging totoo kaya parang natatakot ako na baka may maramdaman pa akong hindi ko naramdaman matagal na or hindi ko talaga naramdaman dati na ngayon pa malabas.” She said that she needs to re-focus on the movie itself and separate her real emotions. “Mahirap personally kasi ayoko magalit sa kanya, ayokong makasakit ng kahit sino so parang (sabi ko sa sarili ko), ‘Trabaho lang ito, trabaho lang,’ pero siyempre kahit papaano personal na.”
KC revealed that she was not afraid to share what she really felt during those times. “Oo. Nagpapakatotoo lang ako.”
