Aside from the teleserye Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, Kim Chiu will soon be busy taping a Your Song mini series together with the country’s Comedy Queen Ai-Ai de las Alas. She’s really excited with this project since it will give her a chance to take a break from her usual dramatic roles on TV. “Sobrang light lang yung kwento. So yung nami-miss nilang Kim Chiu sa My Girl na pa-cute cute, eto na yun.” Although she can’t reveal the full details of the plot yet, she claims that the Kapamilya viewers would be entertained by it. “Sobrang pang-masa kasi siya and knowing Ms. Ai-Ai, siguradong madaming funny scenes kaming gagawin and I am sure tutulungan naman niya ako sa timing para makasabay ako sa comedy niya,” Kim added.

Kim also proudly shared that she and her longtime onscreen partner Gerald Anderson would be receiving the Prince and Princess of Philippine Movies and TV award from the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation’s (GMMSF) Box Office Entertainment Awards this coming June 22. “For the last few years meron na kaming tatlong Most Popular Love Team award. Bale ito yung first time na makakatanggap kami ng Prince and Princess of Philippine Movies and TV award kaya sobrang saya namin sa tiwala na ibinigay nila sa amin ni Gerald. Dagdag inspirasyon yun para mas pagbutihan pa namin yung trabaho namin,” she excitedly gushed.

ABS-CBN has been giving opportunities to a lot of promising young actresses lately, but Kim was still able to hold on to her title as the hottest teleserye princess in the biz. When asked how she feels about it, the pretty chinita simply replied, “Naku! Nahiya naman ako dun. Tingin ko ang importante lang naman ay pangalagaan ko kung ano man yung ibinbigay na opportunity sa akin kasi hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon ay meron niyan. So mas gagalingan ko pa talaga this time.”
