Kris, James told to keep mum on their case

MANILA, Philippines – A judge has prohibited estranged couple Kris Aquino and cager James Yap from publicly discussing Aquino’s petition to nullify their marriage.
Judge Cristina Sulit of the Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 140 has instructed the couple to refrain from talking about the case in public as the court hears the actress-television host’s petition.
“When we were in court last week, Judge Sulit gave us strict instructions—no interviews or discussions about our case and our past relationship. For me, it has been easy to obey her, because I have full respect for our judicial system. And the last thing I’d ever do is not obey the judge’s bilin. That’s why all my tweets and public pronouncements have been very careful,” stated Aquino on Twitter last August 27.
After the hearing, many people have noticed that the actress began to keep silent on the issue.
