The best gifts that The Buzz hosts Boy Abunda, Kris Aquino and Ruffa Gutierrez received this Christmas were the simple and basic ones, such as a Christmas card, handkerchiefs and blankets. The hosts revealed that Christmas this year was made extra special because they spent it with their families and loved ones. “Fantastic, walang kasing saya kapag sa Pasko ang kasama mo ay ang iyong pamilya,” said Boy. Like in the past Christmases, Boy said that he received a dozen handkerchiefs from his Nanay Lesing but he still considers it the best Christmas present. "Consistent ’yung box ng panyo na ibinigay sa amin ng Nanay. She makes sure na 12 pieces ito. One (dozen) for me and one (dozen) for Bong Quintana (Boy’s partner).” Among the many gifts that his co-host Ruffa has received, it is the simple card that her daughters Lorin and Venice made for her that was the most valuable. “Kasi that’s from the heart, eh,” she said. But Ruffa is still thankful to all the people who gave her presents. “But I think the most meaningful talaga is the one from Lorin and Venice kasi talagang sulat nila, sulat-kamay. Even if it is just, ‘I love you, mom. Merry Christmas,’ it’s from the heart.” Kris on the other hand received blankets from veteran actress Gina Pareño, her co-star in the upcoming teleserye, Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo. “For me nice gifts talaga when they’re super useful like super nice talaga na blanket na galing kay Tita Gina, as in ang ganda so fluffy.” Because of this, Kris got an idea what to give her family. “Inalam ko talaga kung saan (nabibili) and then I ordered for all the family ‘coz it’s really nice.” The Queen of Talk also said that host Mariel Rodriguez gave her a snuggie blanket this Christmas , which Kris found very useful. “It’s so cute she (Mariel) bought it in the US and Oprah (Winfrey) featured it sa magazine niya,” shared Kris. “Para siyang blanket pero may sleeves so kunwari nakabalot kang ganon tapos nagla-laptop ka, pwede.
