Pinay model Alex Escat tops Google search in RP

MANILA, Philippines – Filipina model Alexandra “Alex” Escat hogged the Google searches of netizens in the country for the week of August 13 to 19, according to Google Zeitgeist.
Escat, 25, made the front page of British tabloid The Daily Mail in photos showing her being “touchy-feely” with Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.
In one photo, the 50-year-old British royalty is seen kissing the hand of Escat, a familiar face in the Philippine party circuit.
Google Philippines, citing reports, said that Escat “has been getting more modeling offers after news of her and the 50-year-old royalty came out.”
Other popular searches during the past week include actress Angelica Panganiban, who was rumored to be the subject of Claudine Barretto’s angry Twitter posts, and host Mariel Rodriguez, who took an indefinite leave from noontime show “Pilipinas Win na Win.”
