Ruffa Gutierrez settles things with ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas and ex-co-host Kris Aquino

Ruffa Gutierrez has a lot to be happy about. Aside from the fact that the case against her brother Richard Gutierrez has been dismissed, she has been granted full custody of her daughters, Lorin and Venice. “I’m very happy. Actually nasa akin na naman talaga ‘yung custody ng mga bata, but now, because of the court’s decision it’s finally legalized, it’s official and kailangan ko talaga ‘yun. Para sa paper work ng mga bata. You know, to renew their passports, their school. Of course, we’re going to be giving Yilmaz (Bektas, Ruffa’s ex-husband) visitation rights.”
Yilmaz will be flying in from Turkey soon to visit his daughters and Ruffa said they will discuss things then. Meanwhile, Ruffa’s mom Annabelle Rama has already expressed her concerns over her former son-in-law’s visit. “Of course, she’s a mom and she will always be worried. But I assure her as long as kaya ko wala naman sigurong magiging problema. I think si Yilmaz hopefully nag-mature na rin and hindi kami mag-aaway.”
As to whether or not it might be possible for the couple to rekindle their romance, Ruffa answered emphatically, “Uy, naku hindi, ah. Over! I-entertain ko siya pero walang sex. Dinner lang. We are now in the process of getting an annulment. Ang importante siguro we start up as friends muna.”
Other than the custody case, Ruffa said that there have been no other changes in her personal life. “Wala, ganun pa rin. I’m still a hardworking mom. Uh, personal life? Wala, I’m just happy. Kumbaga, I’m free to do things I really want to do which is to work. Ngayon, I’m very active sa sports, nagba-bike na ako. I’m going to start to run so naggi-gym ako. So, ayun, that’s what keeping me busy. Hindi pa siguro ako ready na ma-in love. Pero wala naman sigurong masama na may ka-text ako or may ka-dinner ako. That’s just normal na meron kang companion. But I think I would like to close the past first before I go into a serious relationship. I’m still not ready for that.”
Ruffa also spoke up about Kris Aquino crying on The Buzz. “Para sa akin, tapos na ‘yung isyung ‘yun ‘di ba? Huwag na nating ungkatin pa kasi I’ve already said my piece, she already said her piece and we left it na.Kumbaga, sa The Buzz nag-umpisa, sa The Buzz din magtatapos. So, dapat tapusin na natin ‘yun doon.” But Ruffa admitted that she was shocked to learn that Kris had cried on TV about the issue between them. “Well, na-shock talaga ako, like the whole world. Hindi lang naman ako ang na-shock. Na-shock talaga ang lahat sa bigla niyang pag-iyak. Well, I was on the phone then kaya hindi rin ako masyadong narinig ng mabuti. But like I said, tapos na talaga, e. Kasi I already moved forward and I’d like to say that Kris and I, I believe that we’re okay and wala namang problema.”
