Rumors are flying wild that Sarah Geronimo is rebelling against her mother. Tabloid headlines allege Sarah is the good girl turned bad.

We’ve known Sarah as a dutiful daughter and she is. She is someone every mother can be proud of. But showbiz circles turned upside down when talks about her supposed parental defiance circulated in the rumor mill.

“She has suitors. But there are so many things that must be put into consideration. We must be careful,” said Mommy Divine.

Was there really a time when Sarah thought of going against her mother? “You go through that feeling, but I am happy and thankful that I have my parents to guide me. I am a human being and I can commit mistakes. I have parents who tell me if I am doing something wrong,” said Sarah.

One of Sarah’s most ardent admirers is young actor/dancer Rayver Cruz. “He is a good friend whom I can share my secrets with. And he shares his with me as well. I am saying that if he has plans of courting me, we’ll have to see if I’m ready.”

“Ang puso ko parang sumisigaw na ready na pero hindi pa rin. I have to focus on so many things like my studies, my career. But no one is stopping me because you can’t stop the heart from falling in love, right?” she asked.

Mommy Divine explained her being protective about Sarah: “Everybody knows where we started. And how hard it was for all of us. This is an opportunity given to us by God. Wag padalos dalos sa mga bagay na hindrance sa mga pangarap niya,” added Mommy Divine.

“I don’t think there is anything wrong with having a friend you can talk to. Pero hanggang doon na lang muna. Because that is what is right for now,” Sarah said.

Juday’s wish

Queen of teleserye Judy Ann Santos is looking forward to getting pregnant this year. She has been preparing for it, and has even asked her network if it is alright if she gets pregnant in the middle of the shoot. ABS-CBN said yes. “Of course I want to get pregnant. Ryan and I are leaving for a month.” Juday has a month off free from her showbiz commitments.

As the undisputed queen of teleseryes, Juday said that she “would not be where I am today if it were not because of Gladys Reyes.” Juday and Gladys were together in the soap opera Mara Clara where they literally clawed each other’s faces.

Juday stars in the new teleserye Habang May Buhay with three of showbiz’s sexiest men — Derek Ramsay, Will Devaughn, Joem Bascon. The project will finally air in February after having been delayed for almost two years. “I am honest to say, nainip din ako. It had to go through a process like if the network management said it needed to be enhanced, we had to follow.”

The TV series went through various revisions that resulted in a riveting story line. It also changed directors before it was handed over to blockbuster director Wenn Deramas. The long wait gave Juday the chance to realize a number of things.

“There are incidents in life when your patience is being put to test. And one of these is this teleserye. But I’ve learned so many things. Habang May Buhay is worth the long wait. Magmamarka ito sa mga tao. I have so much faith in the entire staff,” declared Juday.
