Willie says Sam is not ‘Mrs. Wowowee’

MANILA, Philippines – Popular TV host Willie Revillame belied reports that he and former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Double Up housemate Sam Pinto are dating.
In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Revillame, host of the hit noontime show “Wowowee,” said he invited Sam to his birthday, but they have not dated.
“Hindi ah, hindi pa kami nagde-date, wala. So mali ‘yon. Doon lang sa birthday ko (pumunta siya), that’s it,” Revillame said.
Revillame, one of the most most influential people in Philippine showbiz, also said that Sam is not “Mrs. Wowowee.”
“Biro-biro lang yon, saka magugustuhan ba ako ni Sam eh parang tatay na [niya] ako, eh ang bata bata pa niya,” he said.
Revillame stressed he is still a bachelor waiting for “Ms. Right.”
“Hindi ko alam, darating naman ‘yan, then kapag dumating na, doon nako magde-desisyon. Ngayon, kung makikipag-relasyon at lolokohin ko lang, at hindi ko maibibigay ang commitment ko, hindi ko maibibigay ang lahat, what’s the use na magkarelasyon ka? Maganda na ganito ka na lang ‘in the service,’ isang text lang, nandiyan ka na,” he said.
“Sam as host”
With Sam set to co-host “Wowowee,” Revillame said he will not play favorites among his co-hosts.
“Wala, pantay pantay ang trato, basta, be professional. Ang importante ay maging professional, at the same time, ‘yong obligasyon mo sa programa at sa mga tao,” he said.
He added that there’s no reason for the show’s female hosts to feel insecure or be pressured now that Sam is going to be part of the show.
“No, no. Alam mo, ang pinaka-importante sa host ay professional at mahal na mahal nila ang programa. Kahit sino ang sumama diyan, sino ang ilagay natin diyan, ang importane ay ang performance nila. Hindi naman sa ganda ‘yan, (ang mahalaga ay) ‘yong nakakapagbigay ng tulong at saya sa programa,” he said.
